After over ten years working for several advertising and design agencies in Newcastle, I left Robson Brown Advertising and started my own web/design company in September 2000.

Work undertaken
Most of my work at the moment is freelance help for local advertising or design agencies and that tends to keep me busy. With 20 years worth of knowledge of standard design software: InDesign, Quark XPress, Freehand and Illustrator. Accurate Photoshop retouching and visualisation for print and Fireworks interactivity for web. Plus multimedia authoring using Director, and web development using Dreamweaver, GoLive and Flash for animations and banners. I have experience of writing .html and CSS code for use in web and EDMs.

Additionally I have provided bespoke illustrations on commission in a variety of styles and media, and creative, cost effective photography – location and studio – with retouching resources. As a devoted Apple worshipper, I have good experience of troubleshooting Apple hardware & the Mac OS as well as the application errors and networking issues.

The name rings a bell
I've been around the industry for a while now, if we haven't met whilst I was freelancing, perhaps it was through NEPA? I used to be involved on the council and built their first website. I also created and drew Sam Sherriff in the Bad Type cartoon strip.
